As an early education specialist and teacher, Jami Harris knows how important it is to have patience, a calming personality and
the ability to juggle many items at one time. Now as a real estate agent, Jami brings those same personality traits to the table for clients. Jami has spent many years teaching children both in a school and daycare environment and in the home school arena. She
loves working with people of all ages and especially dealing with families. Her goal of helping families find the perfect house in
just the right community means that Jami will invest the time to search and research in order to reach her, and her clients’, goals.
Jami’s work in an insurance office has given her a clear understanding of insurance needs and contracts, a knowledge that will benefit her clients. But it’s her communication skills that will shine as she delves into her client’s wants and needs, negotiates on their behalf and brings about a satisfactory conclusion to the real estate transaction.
Jami grew up in small town Iowa, and spent many years in North Carolina before moving to Florida for her husband’s job at Brevard County and finally putting down roots in Sebastian. “We started out in Palm Bay, but ended up in Sebastian,” Jami said. “I missed the small-town feel, but wanted the convenience of a larger town. Indian River County feels like home and we love it here.”
Jami joined Dale Sorensen Real Estate (DSRE) in early 2019 and the reason was quite simple. “My family was a happy customer of DSRE from a few years ago. We had a great experience with them and I wanted to be a part of such a helpful and solid group. I’m really excited to join such a professional team.” Jami has a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services as well as her sales associate’s real estate license.
